INTRODUCTION

RDO Computer Services offers support to Small Office / Home Office (SOHO) and homes in general that require technical assistance with their (PC) personal computer equipment, applications, network and internet. These clients cannot afford a full-time IT technician and get no follow-up support from the merchants that have sold them the equipment.

Most stores and computer manufactures only offer a 90-day labor warranty on servicing their products, and the buyer has to return the item to the place of purchase for help. The buyer is left with no local support for their equipment after a short three months period. RDO Computer Services fills the public need for on-site service and support.

COMPUTERS

RDO Computer Services offers to service, repair and replace parts on computers, but does not directly sell nor stock computers and components. Services are offered for consulting assistance in the research and purchasing of new equipment, upgrading existing equipment and disposal of old equipment.

All Microsoft Windows versions and general applications are supported.

NETWORKING

RDO Computer Services installs and supports in-house wired and wireless networks. Networking can include cabling/panels, hubs/routers and workstation configurations. Internet support can include Dial-up/DSL/Cable access, account configuration, application setup and website design. Wireless networking allows connectivity with mobility for portable laptops or handheld PDA, and cost effective relocations for desktop systems.

Businesses and homes utilize networks to share files, printers and internet access. Multiplayer gaming is becoming more popular over networks. Statistics show that 66% of homes with computers have more than one, and the ability to share the internet at the same time is more practical and a cost savings.
